   Hello, I'm Rose
RN_edited.jpg

I’m a mother, wife, and passionate home cook. I’ve been a mental health therapist for over a decade and truly enjoy connecting with new people. My journey into this field began with a deep understanding of the vital importance of accessible mental health support for all.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education Special Needs from Tanzania, where I worked as a classroom teacher for children with special needs and as a sign language interpreter for the Deaf community, using Tanzanian Sign Language. I also hold a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Michigan State University. This background has equipped me with a unique ability to bridge cultural gaps in mental health care.

After completing graduate school in 2016, I relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, where I’ve since established both my family and career. I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including families facing serious mental health challenges, individuals with developmental disabilities, those struggling with marital issues, anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship issues, at-risk youth, foster children, and families in crisis.

I provide therapeutic services for individuals, couples, and families. At Salama Center for Mental Health, I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where healing can begin. My therapeutic approach centers on building strong relationships, developing personalized treatment plans, and helping clients cultivate self-awareness and confidence.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, supporting my husband’s ministry at our local church, and being outdoors. As a therapist, pastor’s wife, and mother of three, I bring a grounded, relatable perspective that allows me to connect with people from all walks of life. You’ll notice this natural, compassionate approach in our sessions together.

I look forward to connecting with you on your journey toward mental wellness.
